Every house needs to be looked at on its own merits.

An older cottage in Ludlow will not behave like a post-war house in Coventry, and a damp basement in Leamington Spa may have very little in common with mould in a modern flat. I look at the age, construction, alterations and surroundings of the property before deciding what the evidence means.
